With our busy lives, it is hard to get the time to even try simple meditation. This is where the idea of Guided Meditation comes in. Guided Meditation is having someone assist you to gain a meditative state. Meditation is a mental discipline by which someone attempts to get beyond the conditioned, "thinking" mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Having someone assist this process is 'Guided meditation'.
