digilook asked:
Whether we sit with our arms folded this way and our legs crossed that way is of little consequence. But it is extremely important to check and see if whatever meditation we do is an actual remedy for our suffering.

Meditation is all about getting in touch with the God inside yourself. so it matters not where you find your comfortable position or how. It’s about getting comfortable physically where you can commune with the higher being residing inside yourself.

Yes I do agree with the statement. It doesn’t matter in the way you meditate. What matters the most is what you meditate about and if what you are meditating about is beneficial to you. If you mediate about doing harm it would not be beneficial even if you use a certain correct style of doing it.

The bible says that as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.so if you are thinking in your heart that you can overcome what you are suffering than you become an overcomer if not but only in your own eyes.

I meditate in a zero-gravity-chair. But your question reminds me of a story. A young Buddhist monk charged up to his master and exclaimed “Master, while I was meditating I had the most beautiful vision of the Buddha!” to which the master replies “Concentrate…and it will go away!”
