    Brain Wave

Try stretching a bit, or get someone to massage your shoulders.

Pranayam to relieve headache.Do this exercise everyday and stress and headache will go away over time.
    Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then – close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Hi I am a migraine and stiff neck sufferer occasionally. Ok firstly, you can topically apply Voren a gel to relieve muscle aches.Superb immediate relief during lunch after hours at the pc. Voren plus gels are a first aid so to speak. If for long term, try getting yoga zone stress relief cd. It is easily performed at your own pace and is inexpensive compared to going to a class. I apply some of the movements shown there when in high levels of stress. Works good in the long term. Try chamomile lotions of st ives. And stay dressed in cool sky blues it is soothing and yet you stay alert and calm.good luck. I beat my stress thru meditating on positive things too!

Hi! Buy yourself a beginning yoga book. The excercises are simple and will help you.

I also recommend Voren gels. Find them at a health store. They probably have the book there too.

A good massage of the neck and shoulders feels SO good. Anyone can do that for you. You can even do each side by yourself, but it really feels better if someone else does it. Good luck to you. :)

Yoga poses are good for this, you can look these up online.

What I’ve found that works well is herb tea (chamomile tea or lavender tea) .. both of these really reduce tension in the area.

    Meditation Books for Beginner

Many people do nocturnal meditations which I find too forceful and wake up with a headache, first is to let go of what is bothering you for your chi to be released.
I use the Alpha meditation myself.
Binaural beat recordings use specially generated sounds to alter brain waves, allowing you to quickly enter states of creativity, relaxation and pure energy.
Binaural beats.com has a cd on headache release.
